As a result of Saturday’s devastating fire at the Brickdam Police Station, Shahab Hack, a businessman of Georgetown and a road safety advocate, has donated in excess of 48 traffic wands and other items to the Guyana Police Force.

The donation was received yesterday by Deputy Commissioner “Operations” Clifton Hickens in his Eve Leary office, in the presence of the Force’s Traffic Officer Superintendent Ramesh Ashram.

The police force said that the businessman in his brief remarks commended the hierarchy of the Guyana Police Force who were on the ground on Saturday lending support to their fellow comrades.
