The Lusignan Golf Club is set to be a hive of activity tomorrow as the Bruster’s Golf tournament tees off at 12.30 hours.
The tournament is expected to feature some of the top players in the country across the medal play 18-hole net score shotgun start format.
“Bruster’s is committed to sponsoring a yearly Easter Saturday golf tournament as well as continuing its charitable contributions: the recipient of our inaugural $50,000 gift was the COLAACO School. We will also focus on growing the game in an inclusive way by teaming our customers’ passion for Bruster’s ice cream with the Lusignan Golf Club’s passion for golf,” a release from the body stated.
Registration for the tournament closes at noon today and persons desirous of playing can register at the club or contact the club on 220-5660. Entrance fees are set at $8,000 with $5,000 going towards Green fees. All COVID-19 protocols are in effect.
All participants are advised to contact the club’s manager on the day of the tournament to collect their score cards, pay the tournament fees, and proceed to their allocated tee boxes to tee off.
First place winner will pocket a $5,000 voucher along with a trophy and an ice cream cake while second place will secure a $2,000 ice cream gift card, a $4,000 voucher and a trophy. Third place will receive a trophy, a $1,500 ice cream gift card and a $3,000 voucher. Best net front and back nine will both walk away with a $1,500 voucher and trophy while nearest to the flag will cart off a $1,000 voucher and a trophy.
