The Goed Fortuin motorcyclist who died on Friday following a collision with a vehicle driven by the former Head of the Presidential Guard, was the sole breadwinner for his family. At the time of the incident, the deceased, Isgar Esau was returning to work.
The man’s daughter, Katimah Isgar, told Stabroek News that her father, a contractor, had been working in construction since he was a teenager. She noted that Esau who was the father of four and lived with herself and her mother was the sole breadwinner of their family.
