Kapildeo Gangadin, the man who allegedly stabbed and killed businessman, Ganesh Persaud during a robbery on Friday is to be charged with the murder tomorrow along with that of Coldingen, East Coast Demerara fisherman, Mukesh Mangra which occurred in 2020.
Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum last night confirmed that while Gangadin was in custody for the murder of Persaud, investigators received information that he was also wanted in relation to the murder of Mangra but he was never apprehended.
As such, Blanhum said Gangadin was questioned and during a video interview he admitted his involvement in Mangra’s murder.
