The man’s nephew, Aaron Wilson, yesterday told Stabroek News that his uncle had to undergo surgery to mend broken bones. While he remains in the Georgetown Public Hospital, his condition is listed as stable and his nephew informed that he is recuperating without any complications.
Dense smoke from a rice field fire was said to have obscured visibility and was blamed by drivers for the collision, which occurred on Thursday last just around 11am.
