Head Selector of the Wes Indies Women’s and Girl’s cricket, Ann Browne-John, indicated that there is a lot to be gained for the West Indies ladies on their tour to Pakistan.
West Indies Women will play the hosts in three One Day Internationals from November 8 to 14. Afterwards, the team will travel directly to Zimbabwe for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers from November 21 to December 5.
According to Browne-John, “The upcoming series against Pakistan is a very important one for the West Indies, not only will it give much needed match practice and time in the middle to our players, it will also give the coaching staff an opportunity to assess the team at this point in time coming out of our recent series against Pakistan and South Africa.”
