A man was yesterday sentenced to one month in jail for damaging the windows of another man’s home after he claimed a “jumbie” made him do it.
Cleveland Allen, 40, who is unemployed, was arraigned in a city court, where Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan read the charge to him. It is alleged that on October 22, at Lamaha Park, Georgetown, he damaged 14 sash windows, valued $56,000, which were the property of Earl Price.
Allen pleaded guilty to the charge.
