Paul Kirton, 38, of Smithfield, New Amsterdam, Tuleshwar Narayan, 35, of Number 72 Village, Corentyne, and the 16-year-old appeared via Zoom before Magistrate Alex Moore at the Spring-lands Magistrate’s Court.
Kirton and Narayan were charged separately with one count of armed robbery each while the juvenile was charged with two counts of armed robbery.

Police Prosecutor Phouene Simpson, while objecting to bail, told the court that 16 year old confessed to the robbery and implicated the others, while Narayan also gave a caution statement that he picked up the two others and dropped them off at Number 73 Village where the robbery was committed.
She also pointed out that the juvenile is known to the police and was charged with a similar offence.
Eventually, Kirton and Narayan were each placed on $500,000 bail.
Kirton was ordered to lodge his passport at the Springlands Magistrate’s Court and to report to the Central Police Station every Monday and Thurs-day, while Narayan was required to lodge his travel documents at the Spring-lands Magistrate’s Court and report to the Spring-lands Police Station every Monday and Thursday.
The juvenile was granted bail in a sum of $125,000, on each charge.
