The Health Ministry on Monday confirmed five more COVID-19 deaths along with 36 new cases.
In a press release, the ministry said the deaths, which were all recorded on Sunday, increased the country’s total deaths from the virus to 925.
The deceased ranged in age from 66 to 88 and four of them were unvaccinated, while the vaccination status of the other was unknown.
Meanwhile, the ministry’s COVID-19 dashboard also showed that there were 36 new COVID-19 cases after 680 more tests were done.
It also showed that there were 2,815 active cases, and 13 persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care unit.
