Machinery Corporation of Guyana Limited (MACORP) and the Lusignan Golf Club will once again collaborate to stage the annual Invitational golf tournament which will tee off Saturday.
Details of the 14th edition of the fixture were discussed yesterday during the launch at MACORP’s Providence, East Bank Demerara, head office where senior officials of the company signaled their commitment to the development of the sport in the presence of executives of the club.
Guillermo Escarraga, Chief Executive Officer of MACORP, said that it was a significant step by the company to align itself with the golf club over a decade ago, during which time “the growth and development of golf in Guyana” was evident.
