Pouderoyen edged Wales Masters 3-2 in a preseason encounter yesterday at the National Track and Field Centre, Leonora.
Recent signing Chidune Chidi Matthew immediately made an impact for his club compliments of a first half double.
The stoutly built forward opened the scoring in the 21st minute.
Holding off the challenge of his marker, while racing into the penalty box, Matthew uncorked a powerful shot from right side into the lower left corner.
Matthew made his presence felt once more in the 32nd minute to complete his double. Latching onto the ball following a deflection off the boot of defender, Matthew upon racing into the centre of the area, saw his effort struck the lower left upright and settled into the back of the net.
Wales eventually reduced the deficit in the 72nd minute when Dante McCaulay recorded a brilliant individual effort, setting up a tense finish in the process.
Collecting a bouncing ball 26 yards from goal in the centre of the field, McCaulay unleashed a thunderous volley which sailed into the roof of the net, leaving the goalkeeper rooted to the spot.
The experienced Wales unit would not be denied the equaliser and Donford Williams found the back of the net in the 83rd minute.
An initial strike from inside the right of the box, was parried into his onrushing path, as the forward directed his unchallenged header into the centre of the net from inside the six yard area.
However Pouderoyen snatched the dramatic win in the 89th minute as Keanu Lawrence netted, cutting in from the left side of the field, before blasting his right footed shot into the top left corner of the net.
