The Health Ministry on Friday reported 119 new COVID-19 new cases.
According to the ministry’s COVID-19 dashboard, the new cases were confirmed after 1,462 more tests were done.
The new cases increased the country’s total number of cases to 36,652.
According to the regional distribution of cases, new infections were reported in eight of the country’s ten regions, with the majority of new cases being reported in regions Six, Four and Three with 43, 35 and 17 new cases, respectively.
There were also some 2,330 active cases with 16 of those persons admitted to the COVID-19 intensive Care Unit.
No new deaths were reported and as a result the total number of deaths remained at 955.
