Guyana’s Christopher Franklin and Shemar Britton crashed out of the men’s doubles competition at the ITTF Pan American table tennis championships in Lima, Peru yesterday after a tough five-setter to Canadians Matteo Martin and Edward Ly.
The Guyanese won the first two sets 11-9,11-7 but lost the next three 4-11,4-11 and 8-11.
