An Anns Grove, East Coast Demerara man will spend his holidays in prison after he was remanded on an attempted murder charge.
The man, Melroy Barry, 34, of Lot 32 Anns Grove was arraigned before Magistrate Fabyo Azore at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court. He was accused of attempting to murder a hairdresser.
After being read the charge, Magistrate Azore informed the accused that he will be remanded until January 11, 2022.
