A labourer who admitted to stealing an electric fan was yesterday sentenced to two months in jail for the crime.
Devon Semple, 41, a labourer of Lot 75 Breda Street, Werk-en-Rust, Georgetown, was sentenced by Magistrate Annette Singh in Georgetown.
He pleaded guilty to stealing the fan on November 18, at Indepen-dence Boulevard, Georgetown.
According to the victim, the man jumped her fence and then stole the fan.
