(Trinidad Guardian) Investigations are continuing into a double murder at St Barbs Road, Laventille.
At around 1.45 am yesterday, officers from the Port-of-Spain Task Force responded to reports of an explosion at St François Valley Road. When they went to the area, they came across a Nissan Almera vehicle, PBL 9128, which was on far on St Barbs Road near Anora Gardens.
Fire officers from Brigade Headquarters on Wrightson Roadresponded. When the blaze was extinguished a burnt corpse was found in the vehicle and another body with multiple gunshot wounds was found a short distance away.
Visiting the scene were ACP Ramdeen, ASP Cumberbatch, Insp Ramcharan, W/Cpl Moses, PC Keshwar, Sgt Ramsumir and Homicide CSI officers. The bodies were viewed by DMO Nwafor.
The victims were later identified as Jordan and Jada Pierre.
