Guyanese youth all-rounder, Matthew Nandu, produced with both bat and ball to give West Indies under-19 ‘B’, an eight-wicket win in their third warm up match.
Playing at Coolidge Cricket Ground in Barbados, West Indies U19 ‘B’ won the toss and put West Indies U19 ‘A’ to bat first. They were bowled out for 239 in 49.3 overs, and in reply, West Indies U19 ‘B’ reached 240 for two in 40.3 overs.
The 18-year-old left-hander, Nandu, demonstrated his patience during his 170-minute stay at the crease. The Everest Cricket Club first-division player frustrated the bowlers as he struck eight boundaries during his unbeaten 85 from 98 balls.
