Dear Editor,
Electric cycles have no laws governing their use on the roadways, (INews Nov 26), but a horse cart does. It is baffling that these cycles are a law unto themselves, even being involved in fatal accidents, but not answerable to any law. Once it is on the roadway, and in the public sphere, its operation must be legalized and controlled. It is posited that these cycles need to be regularized, and the authorities should stop the hand wringing and enact laws governing their use on the roadways, or, the lawlessness already happening will only get worse.
Sincerely,
Shamshun Mohamed
