The grand end-of-year inter ministries and government agencies eight-a-side knockout tapeball cricket competition is set to take place today at the National Cultural centre Tarmac.
Organised by James Lewis, the event which has been rescheduled from earlier in the year, is set to commence at 9am with closing time for registration set for 8.30am.
At stake are trophies and medals and competing players are expected to be fully vaccinated.
Proof of a player’s vaccination status will be required and there will also be sanitizing stations at the venue.
Sponsors of the event are, Office of the President, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Star Party Rentals, Trophy Stall and GTT and the event has been given the blessings of the Ministry of Health Covid-19 Task Force to which organizer Lewis said he was grateful.
