Maggie’s Catering Establishment Friday handed over a cheque to the Kasif and Shanghai Organisation to assist in staging of the Super16 football competition which is currently underway.
Receiving the donation from Pearson Burch-Smith of Maggie’s was Co-Director Aubrey Shanghai Major who
lauded the catering establishment for the gesture.
“In accepting your company’s sponsorship, I would like to express our thanks to you, the management and staff of Maggie’s Catering Inc. and wish you all the best as well as continued success whilst encouraging our players and fans to continue support your business,” said Major. The inaugural tournament is being run by the Kashif and Shanghai Organisation and the Guyana Football Federation. Burch-Smith, in brief remarks spoke of his prior association with the Kashif and Shanghai Orgsnisation.
“My relationship with this marquee competition has come a long way and many years, and I’ve seen its progress. Like many others, we are very pleased to see it back on course and we look forward to maintaining and strengthening our partnership,” he said.
