(Trinidad Guardian) PC Anderson Bernard and PC Lester Jones both passed away from complications due to COVID-19 yesterday.
In a press release issued yesterday afternoon, Commissioner of Police (Ag.) Mc Donald Jacob and the Executive of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) extend condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of both officers.
Bernard, 46, who enlisted into the TTPS on April 3rd 1995, was last attached to La Horquetta, Criminal Investigations Department, Northern Division. He passed away at the Arima Hospital. He leaves to mourn his wife and two daughters.
PC Jones, 40, who enlisted into the TTPS on November 29th, 2013, was last attached to the North-Eastern Division. He passed away at his home. PC Jones leaves to mourn his wife, his 12-year-old son and two stepchildren.
