Guyana Police Force (GPF) battered the Bartica All-Stars 10-1 when the Guyana Football Federation (GFF)/Guyana National Women’s Football Association (GNWFA) Super-16 Women’s Festival continued on Saturday.

Hosted at the Bartica Community Centre, Onika Eastman fashioned a hat-trick in the 17th, 25th and 77th minute, while Tiandi Smith amassed a first half brace in the 29th and 38th minute, and Nicola Argyle bagged a second half double in the 70th and 88th minute.

Adding goals in the fifth, 48th and 51st minute were Lakeisha Pearson, Jimmaica Hunte and Deekola Chester respectively. For the loser, Kristy Thomas found the back of the net in the 20th minute.

Action continues today at the National Training Centre, Providence. The event will conclude on January 2nd at the GFF National Training Centre.

The winner of the tournament will now receive $500,000 and the championship trophy. The runner-up will pocket $300,000. The third and fourth place finishers will collect $200,000 and $100,000 respectively.
