Dear Editor,
The churches were closed for worship on Sunday, the Lord’s Day.
A lot of churches canceled Sunday Boxing Day’s service.
On Boxing Day, fifty of our friends and family members went to my church and the service was canceled because the church had service on Christmas Day.
Then, we went to my wife’s church and they also canceled service but the pastor decided to have a service when we showed up.
I don’t understand how churches canceled Sunday Services just because they had a service the day before. Why not have service on both days?
Nowhere in the Bible we are told to have a Christmas’ Day service and canceled Sunday services.
Sunday is the Lord’s Day, not Christmas Day. Sunday is the day the Bible says to meet.
The churches should have met on Christmas Day and Sunday (Boxing Day). Or they should have canceled Christmas Day, not Boxing Day.
Yours faithfully,
Anthony Pantlitz
