The body of an unidentified man was last night discovered on the Kitty Seawall, Georgetown in the vicinity of the Kitty pump station.
Reports are that the discovery was made around 6.45pm and the police were immediately summoned.
The body was removed and examined for marks of violence but none was seen.
Persons around the area said they know the man to be destitute.
An investigation has been launched and the police are awaiting an autopsy report to determine how the man met his demise.
