Sparta Boss and Bent Street will contest the final of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF)/Kashif and Shanghai (K&S) Futsal Championship on Saturday, following respective semi-final wins on Tuesday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue in Georgetown.
In the opening semi-final encounter, Sparta Boss dismantled Leopold Street 7-2 in their semi-final encounter. Ryan Hackett led the rout in front of a large gathering with a hat-trick in the 6th, 10th and 24th minute.
Curtez Kellman amassed a double in the 30th and 32nd minute, while Eusi Phillips and Deon Alfred completed the lopsided result with conversions in the 23rd and 34th minute respectively. For the loser, the combination of Benjamin Opara and Quincy Adams found the back of the net in the 21st and 39th minute.
Meanwhile, in the other encounter, Bent Street bested Gold is Money 4-3. Daniel Wilson crafted a second half double in the 41st and 49th minute, while Colin Nelson and Jermin Junior etched their name on the scorer’s sheet in the 15th and 35th minute correspondingly.
For Gold is Money, the trio of Cecil Jackman, Marcus Wilson, and Randolph Wagner, scored in the 22nd, 26th and 46th minute respectively. The losing semi-finalists will face-off in the earlier third-place playoff.
