The son of 78-year-old hit-and-run victim, Veronica Lewis, is calling on the Guyana Police Force (GPF) to do more so that justice can be served for his deceased mother.
The woman’s son, Michael Lewis, told Stabroek News that the police aren’t saying much about his mother’s accident. “I feel that they could do more,” the man opined.
When Stabroek News contacted Traffic Chief, Senior Superintendent Ramesh Ashram, he informed that the matter is still under investigation.
Veronica Lewis was struck down and killed a month ago by an unknown vehicle while standing on Lamaha Street in the vicinity of Waterloo Street, North Cummingsburg, Georgetown.
