Head of the Guyana Oil and Gas Energy Chamber Manniram Prashad has been reappointed as Chairman of the Gaming Authority’s Board of Directors.
A notice of the Cabinet decision, signed by Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Governance Gail Teixeira, was published in the Official Gazette.
Prashad, a former Minister of Tourism, was appointed as Board Chairman after the PPP/C returned to office in 2020.
The other Directors of the Gaming Authority’s board, whose appointments were also approved by Cabinet, were identified as Abena Moore, Genevieve Blackman, Sase Gunraj and Mark Conway.
