Lusignan gets improved water supply with completion of new well

The Guyana Water Incorporated on Friday said checks on the distribution network in the Lusignan area on the East Coast of Demerara have shown that residents are enjoying significantly improved level of service following the recent completion of a new well which is serving Lusignan, Annandale West, Good Hope Public Road and Courbane Park, East Coast Demerara.  Chief Executive Officer, Shaik Baksh, and a technical team on Thursday visited several areas to gauge the improved water supply. The new well is to be commissioned later this month.
