The Ministry of Health yesterday said that as of February 5th, 2022, one more person who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 1,181.
The latest fatality is a female, 89, of Region Four. Her vaccination status was unknown.
Meanwhile, the ministry reported 196 new cases of the virus. Fifteen persons are in the ICU.
