Vishal Bahadur, the17-year-old pillion rider who was involved in an accident on Sunday that claimed the life of 23-year-old motorcyclist, Dave Taylor of Laluni Creek, is still a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital
A police report had stated that Taylor was riding motorcycle bearing registration number CL 3900 while Bahadur was the pillion rider.
They were proceeding west along the southern side of the road allegedly at a fast rate, when the motorcycle dropped into a pothole filled with water. As a result, the rider lost control and the duo fell onto the road.
They were picked up by public-spirited citizens and rushed to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre on the East Bank where Taylor was pronounced dead on arrival.
Bahadur, after receiving emergency treatment, was transferred to the GPH.
