The Ministry of Health yesterday said that as of February 12th, 2022, one more person who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 1,194.
The latest fatality is a male, 57, of Pomeroon/Supenaam whose vaccination status was unknown.
Meanwhile, the ministry reported that there were 34 new cases of the virus. Ten persons are in the ICU.
