United States of America-based Guyanese national basketball players Akeem Crandon and Israel Yaw led ASA College to a 67-56 points defeat of Touro College Sunday in the second meeting of the season.
Crandon bagged a double-double with 16 points, 15 rebounds, three assists and three blocks. It was an off night for Yaw who could only muster two points and seven rebounds. Meanwhile, ASA College suffered their second loss in the season to Harcum College on Saturday by a 76-106 score.
Crandon amassed another double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Yaw recorded 14 points, eight rebounds and two assists. The first meeting of the teams ended 64-91.
Presently, ASA’s record stands at 12-9. They have also defeated Dutchess Community College, University of Connecticut at Avery Point, Essex County College (1st meeting), Union Community College, Hostos Community College (twice), Roxbury Community College, Touro College (1st meeting), Bronx Community College, Sullivan County and Mount Saint Vincent JV.
Meanwhile, defeats have also been incurred against Raritan Valley, Eastern Florida State, Suffolk, Harcum College (1st meeting), Rockland Community College, Essex County (2nd meeting), and Munroe College (twice).
