The Ministry of Health on Friday reported 58 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.
There were no new confirmed fatalities and as a result the COVID-19 death toll remained at 1,216.
In relation to the new cases that were recorded, the updated COVID-19 dashboard showed that 2 of those cases were from Region One, 3 cases from Region Three, 19 cases from Region Four, 8 cases from Region Five, 2 cases from Region Seven and 24 cases were from Region Nine.
The dashboard also showed that 10 persons were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) while 10 more were in institutional Isolation.
