Dear Editor,
It was most titillating to view the front page of SN of February 24, which showed the fireworks over Stabroek Market in observance of the 52nd Anniversary of the country’s Republican status. If one is not mistaken, the iconic Stabroek Market appears to show two distinct times – not illogically reflecting the confusion in our minds albeit at (ceremonial) times; but moreso projecting to our international witnesses the inability to pay attention to detail – an attribute so much required of those who we lead. Could the Office of the President confirm the actual time of the ‘Fireworks’ – a genuine case for super-structuring.
