Guyana’s male and female table tennis teams have been allocated slots for participation at this year’s Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
This is according to president of the Guyana Olympic Association, K.A Juman Yassin.
According to the GOA president he has received correspondence from the Commonwealth Games Committee of the development.
“In accordance with the published Table Tennis Athlete Allocation System (Version 4) for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, the CGF and the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) are pleased to officially confirm your qualification….”
According to the correspondence the GOA has until Monday to confirm acceptance of the slots.
The Guyana male and female table tennis teams are currently in Cuba where they will participate in the annual Caribbean Table Tennis Championships.
