The Youth Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) Karate Club conducted a grading exercise at the Albion Community Centre in the Ancient County of Berbice February 27th.
This was disclosed by a release from the organization.
According to the correspondence, Joshua Rampersaud, Anuvani Gunpat, and Basdeo Bissessar progressed to 2 kyu brown belt from 3 kyu, while 5 kyu student Sameer Mohamed advanced to 3 kyu brown belt. The duo of Ronald Arjune, and Noorisha Harrinarine ascended to 4 kyu purple belt from 5 kyu.
Meanwhile, Samiyah Ali, Saafir Ali, Tiffany Rupert, Vireshkar Rupert, and Neal Shiwlochan improved from 10 kyu to orange belt, while the trio of Yogeeta Seemangal, Denesh Narine, and Pretti Sukdeo achieved their green belt from 10 kyu. Samarah Dhanraj progressed to Green belt from 7 kyu.
