The Ministry of Health has reported one new COVID-19 death as of yesterday, taking the pandemic fatality toll to 1223.
The latest fatality is an unvaccinated woman, 64, from Region Four
In addition, the dashboard presented by the ministry shows a total of 31 new cases that were recorded, with the active cases now at 334.
Out of the new cases, 1 case was recorded from Region One, 2 cases from Region Two, 16 cases from Region Four, 3 new cases from Region Six, 1 from Region Seven and 8 new cases were recorded from Region Nine.
Furthermore, 7 persons are said to be in the Intensive Care Unit while 13 are in institutional isolation.
