A pork knocker was on Tuesday freed of a charge which alleged that he engaged in sexual activity with an eight-year-old girl.
Brian Cozier, 28, was freed of the charge after Magistrate Crystal Lambert who was presiding over the trial at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court, upheld a no-case submission by the defence.
Cozier had denied that on August 12, 2020, at Agatash Village, Bartica, Region Seven, he engaged in sexual activity with the eight-year-old child.
During Tuesday’s proceedings, the magistrate upheld the no-case submission, therefore dismissing the charge against him.
