West Indies Women’s team vice-captain, Anisa Mohammed, believes that her side will surprise a lot of teams in the ongoing International Cricket Council’s Women’s 50-overs-a-side World Cup.
Mohammed made these comments during the post-match conference yesterday after her side beat title holders England, by seven runs.
West Indies Women had also defeated New Zealand in the first match of the tournament.
The spinner reckoned that the Caribbean unit was not at their best in the 50-over format but contended players are finding form at the right time.
