The Ministry of Health yesterday reported 17 new cases from 758 more COVID-19 tests that have been conducted.
According to the Health Ministry’s updated COVID-19 dashboard, the new cases comprised 3 from Region Two, 2 from Region Three, 9 from Region Four, 2 from Region Six and 1 from Region Nine.
Furthermore, the dashboard showed that 5 persons were in the Intensive Care Unit while 12 were in institutional isolation and 182 in home isolation.
With no new death, the country’s death toll remained at 1,224.
On Wednesday, the Ministry had reported one more death: an unvaccinated female 34, of Region Six. Fourteen new cases of COVID-19 were reported that day.
