A blistering century from Tagenarine Chanderpaul spurred Everest Cricket Club to a 164-run win over MMZ USA yesterday at the Everest ground, Camp Road.
The hosts won the toss and batted posting 258 for seven in their 30 overs before routing MMZ USA for 94 in 26.2 overs.
Chandrapaul hammered two sixes and 10 fours in 101 from 72 balls before retiring. Chanderpaul added 76 with former West Indies youth all-rounder, Matthew Nandu, for the fifth wicket. Nandu made 40 from 31 balls before he was stumped by Renaldo Renee off of off-spinner, Jonathan Rampersaud.
