Patients who are suffering from advanced chronic kidney diseases will soon be able to benefit from dialysis within Region Two.
This was disclosed by Minister of Health Dr. Frank Anthony during his recent visit to the Pomeroon-Supenaam region.
Dr. Anthony said that currently the Ministry is looking for space in the compound of the Suddie Public Hospital to establish a dialysis centre. As announced in this year’s budget, patients will be given $600,000 annually to help offset their medical expenses.
