The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) will from today open two sites for taxpayers who need assistance with signing up for its online service to file their individual income tax and other returns online.
A GRA notice in yesterday’s Sunday Stabroek said that from today (March 21) to Thursday, March 31 (including Saturday, March 26) the service will be available at the Amazonia Mall (inside and next to E-Networks) from 10 am to 4 pm and on Friday up to 3 pm.
The service will also be available at the GRA Headquarters (Tax Advisory Section) from today (March 21) to Thursday, March 31 (excluding Saturday).
Taxpayers are advised to take along valid proof of identification (National ID card, driver’s licence or passport) to facilitate the registration and sign-up process for their E-Services Account. Further, users of the service will be required to log into their personal email accounts to activate their E-Services account. Users are therefore required to have an active email address and password.
The notice said that GRA officers will also be helping persons to file their tax returns online. Persons interested in this service are required to have their 7B slip and Mortgage Interest Relief Form 4 from their lending institution if applicable.
