Dear Editor,
Politicians needs to be held accountable for their promises. Promises like Irfaan Ali’s campaign promise of 50,000 jobs.
How goes the creation of 50,000 jobs? How many more Guyanese are now employed in comparison to when Irfaan Ali became President Irfaan Ali in 2020?
I had written a letter saying that the Government would need about US$5 billion minimum to create 50,000 jobs.
I don’t think that the Government has or will be able to deliver on this promise. Of course, I could be wrong; so prove me wrong.
Yours faithfully,
Sean Ori
