Everest Cricket Club yesterday handed American Cricket Society (ACS) their first loss, a six wicket defeat, on their Goodwill tour of Guyana.

ACS batting first were restricted to 129 for seven off their allotted 20 overs at Everest ground, Camp Road with heavy winds sweeping across the venue in overcast conditions. Everest then cruised to 130 for four with 4.2 overs to spare.

The chase was piloted by West Indies U19 batsman, Matthew Nandu, the left-hander racing to a ball-a-run 60, decorated with five boundaries before he was trapped leg before wicket to part time spinner, Dominique Rikhi (2-9).
