Today, looking for a job has become easier as strategies are in place to get that desired job anyone is looking for. Jobs searches are now digitized, and from the comfort of our homes, on the internet, anyone can visit the National Job Bank, launched by the Ministry of Labour on March 11th. All employers (both private and public sectors) are allowed access to the site to list their vacancies for free, but through the Central Recruitment and Manpower Agency. All advertising companies will be registered on the website, as mentioned by the Ministry of Labour at www.jobs.gov.gy. Another great initiative is the proposal for 800 part-time jobs for persons living on the Essequibo Coast, Region Two, to help supplement incomes. These initiatives are recommended for persons who are presently unemployed; but they should keep following the job site for new updates as much as possible.
