The touring MMZ USA side romped to victories over Enmore Community Centre Cricket Club and La Bonne Intention Young Guns on Saturday.
Against hosts Enmore, MMZ USA won by five wickets.
Enmore posted 164 for seven and MMZ reached 168 for five in 27.5 overs.
Renaldo Renee top scored for MMZ with an unbeaten 100 from 73 balls, laced with seven sixes and four fours while
Alex Algoo and Andy Mohammed scored 32 and 14 respectively.
In Enmore’s innings, Vishwanauth Ramlakhan top scored with 68 from 60 balls while cameos came from Yuvraj Dyal (21), Richard Chatura (20), Kellon Carmichael (19) and Bheeraj Ramkelawan (13). Mathew Hubbard (2-22) and Samuel Raghubir (2-26) were the principal wicket takers.
At LBI, MMZ USA won by 20 runs after posting 132 all out in 24 overs and restricting Young Guns to 112 in 24.4 overs.
MMZ USA’s Algoo top scored with 32 while Randy Boodhu and Troy Mars made 27 runs each.
Satish Jaikaran (2-13), Romel Dowletram (2-20), Krish Persaud (2-28) and Kemol Savory (2-29) were the main bowlers.
Ricky Kissoon ensured Young Guns would not reach the tally with 4-26. He was supported by Ushardeva Balgobin (2-20).
For Young Guns, Savory returned to hit 27 before being run out while Andre Samaroo made 18 and Moonsammy Veerasammy made 15.
