Sophia resident Harvey George found himself in a city court yesterday after police say he was found in a place he had no business being—a woman’s house.
George, 27, of Lot 192 North Sophia, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan in Georgetown, where the charge was read to him.
It is alleged that on the night of March 28, at North Sophia, Greater Georgetown, he entered the dwelling house of Nakasie Amin in an attempt to commit a felony.
The court heard that the man was found in the woman’s room.
George was placed on $5,000 bail and the matter was adjourned until April 6, 2022.
Although the prosecutor had no objection to bail, she asked that the accused report to the Prashad Nagar Police Station every Friday at 09:00 hrs pending the outcome of the matter.
