Another bout has been added to the already stacked Guyana Fight Night ‘Road to Redemption’ card scheduled for April 23 at the National Stadium.
According to promoters of the mega event, a four-round light heavyweight matchup involving Laured ‘The Lion’ Stewart and Romeo Norville will supplement the six-fight fixture.
Stewart and Norville are no strangers to each other since the pair matched gloves in the amateur ranks with Norville prevailing.
The fight card will be the perfect hunting ground for the ‘Lion’ seeking redemption since he felt he was robbed while Norville will be out to prove his ‘W’ was not a fluke.
The fights are scheduled to become official shortly when the contracts are inked.
Meanwhile, the card which will garner support from the government and corporate entities, will be headlined by Elton Dharry with the Dexter ‘De Kid’ Marques in the co-feature.
Next month’s event which has an international flavour with a blend of talented youths and experience will see the return of Imran ‘Magic’ Khan, James Walcott and Quincy Gomes.
Also, debutants, Stephen Da Silva and Richard James will match gloves in a lightweight four-rounder.
The USA-based Dharry will face the undefeated Orlando Penalba from Panama.
