Otis James re-elected unopposed as GFA boss

Incumbent Otis James was re-elected unopposed as President of the Georgetown Football Association (GFA), when the entity staged its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Electoral Congress yesterday at the Cara Lodge Hotel on Quamina Street, South Cummingsburg, Georgetown.

The James-led slate was nominated by Eastville FC and seconded by Black Pearl FC. The other elected members of the slate are Vice-Presidents Faizal Khan, Clifton Adams, and Dirk Exeter; General Secretary, Adrian Barrow; Treasurer, Ackram Sabree; Assistant Secretary/Treasurer, Jenill Browne; and Committee Members, Lomell Johnson and Michelle DeAbreu.

Khan and Barrow were absent at the elections as they were out of the jurisdiction at the time. Lyndon France, Technical Development Officer of the Guyana Football Federation, served as the returning officer for the election.
